Christmas Cardio Circuit

I fixed my Instagram by restarting my phone, genius status over here, so I’m finally back in action and snapping the day away!

This morning’s coffee said it all.

I’ve never been one to take energy drinks or supplements pre-workout. I think they’re dangerous, unnecessary, and nothing that a cup of black coffee can’t fix.

When your feeling fatigued, please do not turn to anything that makes your heart beat at an unrealistic rate. Drink water throughout the day, eat enough calories to sustain your workouts, and sip on some green tea or coffee before hand. You do not need any more than that.

Here’s a quick and effective Christmas Cardio Circuit to fit into your busy holiday schedule.

Find 15 minutes of your day to squeeze it in, or if you have extra time, repeat for a total body workout in 30 minutes

Of course, some workouts were thrown into the mix as well. Find the time and get it done.

By the way!!

Have you all heard about the Frozen decathlon sponsored by Stonyfield Organic, which will begin on July 26th? It will consist of two flavors, Peach Mango and Superfruits, competing against each other through 10 events which require YOUR votes!

Each event has a team leader, and I have been chosen to represent team Peach Mango for the 11th event against my opponent, “The Healthy Runner”, of team SuperFruits.

On the day of my event, which I will keep you informed on (I’m guessing around mid-late August), head on over to the decathlon page and vote for my team, Peach Mango.

When you do vote, you will receive a $1.00 off coupon towards a pint of Frozen Oikos, and each additional time you vote, you increase your chances at winning the Grand Prize!

Which is a good one

Each event lasts for three days and if you love Greek yogurt as much as I do, then vote, vote, vote during my event!

Keep a lookout for my cue, and also visit their Facebook page for more information.

Thirsty Thursday {Flavors of Fall}

I am loving that so many of you are looking forward to Fall just as much as I am! But I can’t help but wonder…

Is your excitement due to the fact that Pumpkin flavored coffee will soon be available in coffee shops nationwide?

Thought so. No shame. I’m right there with ya!

Until then, I’ve settled for an equally delicious combination of French Vanilla with a dash of cinnamon and Truvia.

So..Hurricane Irene is about to rear her ugly head straight into my birthday weekend, and what better way to welcome her than with some strong cocktails?

Maybe she’s a light weight and will pass out before she reaches Boston. We can only hope. But, since that doesn’t seem to be the case, let’s get the drinks ready shall well?

  • 2 oz Pomegranate Vodka
  • 3 oz Fresh Cranberry Juice
